Ag Day 2015

On Monday, May 4th, members of the Cashton FFA Chapter hosted Ag Day for elementary aged students. Ag day is a day for the elementary kids to learn about agriculture and the importance of agriculture in our society. In the morning, the 4K through 2nd grade visited the new Ag Shop and Labs at our high school and learned about tractor safety, chickens, planting, and how to make jerky. In the afternoon, the 3rd through 5th grade students traveled to the Antique Engine Club, which is between Cashton and Westby, and learned about wildlife, tractor safety, an antique engine, and soil. The students had a great time spending their day learning about agriculture.
