On Sunday February 19, 2017, the Cashton FFA held its annual Pancake Breakfast to kick-off FFA Week. Serving started at 7:00 a.m. and continued until 11:30 a.m. Overall, more than 200 people were served. The Cashton FFA would like to thank all of the community members who came out to support them. They would also like to thank Pasture Pride and Von Ruden’s Meats for donating parts of the meal.
On Thursday, August 18th the Cashton FFA served a fundraising meal at the first Cashton High School Football game of the season. The head coach of the opposing team, the Ithaca Bulldogs, had been diagnosed with cancer. Cashton Football head coach Jared Hemmersbach and other businesses donated food to help raise money for his fight against cancer. Both communities were glad to come together to support such a worthy cause.

The Brewers will be playing the Cardinals.
Ticket Cost is $75. Cost includes ticket, transportation, and tailgate.
Trip departs from Cashton Elementary School parking lot at 6:30 am.

Cashton FFA is holding its annual plant sale throughout the month of May! Support the FFA and purchase plants after school from 3:30-6:00.
To add to the celebration of FFA week, the third graders participating in the PALS program learned about FFA Official Dress, some FFA trivia, and colored in the FFA emblem. Students were asked to assemble a paper doll with FFA Official Dress. Students learned about the significance of the FFA jacket as well as the rules that are followed when an FFA member wears an FFA jacket proudly. Third graders answered a few questions about how they can live out the FFA mission and participate in future local FFA activities by playing an FFA trivia game. These future members were excited to learn about the FFA organization.
On Saturday November 7th members of the Cashton FFA chapter served food at the Mlsna East Town Dairy Open House. The Mlsna East Town Dairy is operated by Nick and Barb Mlsna. On Wednesday, September 9th, the Cashton FFA officers served a meal at the Cashton Communitty Hall. The meal was part of the annual Cashton Fall Fest Kick-Off; there was also dancing.
The annual Cashton FFA Alumni Chicken Q was held on Sunday, August 30th at the Cashton Park. The chapter officers served a meal to the FFA members, Alumni members, and their families. Mr. King introduced the officers and made announcements regarding the new school year, fall fest events, and the toy show.
Angela Klinkner, Dea Dea Leis, and Carrie and Casey Urbanek, attended the Wisconsin State Fair August 13th through 16th to play in the Wisconsin FFA State Honors Band. They performed multiple times over the four days they were there.
The Monroe County Fair took place at the Recreational Park in Tomah, July 29th through August 2nd. Our members had a successful week showing Dairy, Swine, and Sheep. Congratulations to all exhibitors! The chapter officers also served a meal to all exhibitors that made it into the Junior Livestock Auction, their families, and the buyers.
