On Tuesday November 8th, Section 3 State Officer Laura Munger visited the Cashton Ag Department. She had workshops during classes and worked with students. Students learned about things like communication and teamwork. She also met with the Cashton FFA officer team over lunch.
On Friday, November 4th four FFA officers and Mr. King gathered in the Ag room for officer bonding. They carved pumpkins to decorate the Ag room and school for fall. Everyone had a lot of fun! Thank you to Tucker and Becky Gretebeck for donating the pumpkins.
On Friday, October 29th a group of FFA members went to the Cashton Elementary school to teach the elementary students how to have a safe Halloween. The students watched a presentation, and then did a fun activity with the members. Everyone had a good time and learned a lot.
On October 14th the Cashton FFA held their first card party of the year in the Ag room. Both members and nonmembers were invited to attend. Many different kinds of card, board, and electronic games were played. Everyone had a wonderful time!
On Saturday September 10th the Cashton FFA held their annual Fall Fest Toy Show.The show had a fabulous turn out, with many attendees from Cashton and the surrounding communities. The Cashton FFA would like to thank all of the sponsors for the Toy Show Raffle. New and returning FFA members start their school year participating in this annual event. With donations from sponsors the Cashton FFA toy raffle had over 30 toys. Thank you sponsors for your donations this year.

Many community members make it a family tradition to come to the annual Toy Show.
On Thursday, August 18th the Cashton FFA served a fundraising meal at the first Cashton High School Football game of the season. The head coach of the opposing team, the Ithaca Bulldogs, had been diagnosed with cancer. Cashton Football head coach Jared Hemmersbach and other businesses donated food to help raise money for his fight against cancer. Both communities were glad to come together to support such a worthy cause.
On the fourth day of the National FFA Convention trip, members attended the convention for the second day. Members walked around the mall and expo. That night, members attended the seventh general session of the day. Members listened to National Officer Caleb Gustin give his retiring speech. The keynote speaker was Brad Montegue. Montegue makes the Kid President videos along with his brother-in-law Robby. After the session, the members made their long trek back to Wisconsin.
The Cashton FFA Parli Pro team competed at Sectional Speaking Contest on Thursday, March 19th. They once again had to demonstrate the proper procedures in conducting a meeting according to Robert’s Rules of Order. Even though they did not place in the top three, they greatly improved since the last contest and have learned a lot about Parliamentary Procedure. The team consisted of Mark, Rebecca, and Nick Gronemus, Angela Klinkner, Sierra Hanley, and Alex Hurtz.
