On October 14th the Cashton FFA held their first card party of the year in the Ag room. Both members and nonmembers were invited to attend. Many different kinds of card, board, and electronic games were played. Everyone had a wonderful time!
On Wednesday, September 7th, the Cashton FFA served a meal at the Cashton Community Hall for the Cashton Fall Fest Kick-off. There was music and dancing, and a video of past Fall Fests.
It’s not too late to sign up for FFA! The Cashton FFA holds meetings once a month during the middle school and high school lunch periods. Download and fill out the form or stop in the Agriculture room to sign up today! Membership dues are $20 for 7th – 12th graders and 6th grade membership is free!
On Saturday September 10th the Cashton FFA held their annual Fall Fest Toy Show.The show had a fabulous turn out, with many attendees from Cashton and the surrounding communities. The Cashton FFA would like to thank all of the sponsors for the Toy Show Raffle. New and returning FFA members start their school year participating in this annual event. With donations from sponsors the Cashton FFA toy raffle had over 30 toys. Thank you sponsors for your donations this year.

With the start of a new school year comes the chance for students to become new FFA members. The officers held the first meeting of the year. Over 30 members came and participated in the potluck lunch meeting, and door prizes were given away at the meeting. The officers informed the members on upcoming events like World Dairy Expo, National Convention, and Fall Fest Activities.
Monthly meetings for members will be held every 1st Friday of the month. There will be a potluck and FFA door prizes. New members are always welcome.
The annual Cashton FFA Alumni Chicken Q was held at the Cashton Park on August 24th. The meal was served by the Cashton FFA Officers and members to current members, alumni members, and their families. Members were able to sign up for activities and talk with alumni members. The 2016-2017 officers were also introduced.

On Thursday, August 18th the Cashton FFA served a fundraising meal at the first Cashton High School Football game of the season. The head coach of the opposing team, the Ithaca Bulldogs, had been diagnosed with cancer. Cashton Football head coach Jared Hemmersbach and other businesses donated food to help raise money for his fight against cancer. Both communities were glad to come together to support such a worthy cause.
West Allis, WIS., August 11-14, 2016 – The Wisconsin State FFA Band and Choir preformed at the 165th Wisconsin State Fair. Two Cashton FFA members preformed in these groups; Taylor Hanley was apart of the Choir, and Angela Klinkner was in the Band. They preformed various genres of songs in different places around the fair grounds. They made new friends and had so much fun.
