The Cashton FFA Chapter sent eight members to the annual National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky on October 28 to November 1st. On there way to Louisville, they stopped and toured at Kuhn Manufacturing and Fair Oaks Dairy. On Wednesday, they toured the Kentucky Thoroughbred center for training horses and also attended the opening session of convention. They listened to a very motivating key-note speaker, Nick Vujicic. The next day, they went to the Joe Huber hobby farm and ate at their buffet and toured some of their land. That night, they also attended the 3rd session and listened to the President and CEO of Tyson Foods, Donnie Smith. Later that night, the members were privileged to go to the KFC Yum center and attend the Justin Moore and Easton Corbin concert. After the fun-filled night, the members then went back to the convention center on Friday and explored the Career show and attended workshops and proceeded to their last session with key-note speaker, Jane Herlong. They then traveled back overnight on the bus and had a chance to recover from the very fun and educational trip.
